Welcome to the SunPy homepage. The SunPy project is an effort to create an open-source software library for solar physics using the Python programming language.
To get started, download and install the latest version of SunPy. If you have questions about the project or would like to get involved, feel free to join us on IRC at #sunpy on Freenode.net (web chat), or sign up for the SunPy mailing list. We also have a google plus page. We host regular meetings that are open to the public using Google Hangout. See the events on the Google plus page.
